I'm no stranger to feeling stuck in this journey . I began my online travel back in 2009 and over the years have been fortunate enough to work with mentors like Brendan Burchard, Tony Robbins and T Harv Eker to list a few. In 2013 I managed to sack my own boss and quit my entire time Executive level Government Role I had worked in for nearly 17 years.
Going full-time online is not straightforward. A good deal of things keep us from making the leap--things like fear and insecurity.
I decided to collect the lessons I have learned along the way to share them with other people, such as you, striving to better themselves and create a freedom laptop lifestyle.
Therefore, here are my 7 tips for getting a thriving internet business.
1. Concentrate on your WHY.
How big is the WHY for starting a web business. Can it be to quit your job, have more time freedom to spend with family and friends or even more money to go on that luxury holiday or buy that new car. How dedicated are you to your goal? How significant is it to you, and what are you willing to sacrifice so as to attain it? If you find yourself fully focused and dedicated, motivation will follow.
Starting out online can be a minefield with a lot of"Shiny Objects" and strategies to make online. Having a mentor can quickly track your results and take you be the hand and show you how. If you concentrate on the excitement of discovery, enhancing, experimenting and exploring, your motivation will be fuelled. Therefore the key is to receive a Mentor, and enjoy the journey not focus on the destination. Keep thinking about what you're learning along the way and creating your mindset and abilities.
3. Get rid of Negative beliefs and ideas.
Ideas online work at home influence feelings and feelings determine the best way to see the world. You have a Good Deal of thoughts in mind, and you always have a choice of which ones to focus on: those that can make you emotionally stuck (fears, doubts) or the ones who can move you closer to your goals (excitement, experimentation, trying new things and stepping out of your comfort zone)
4. Use your creativity.
Next step after getting rid of negative thoughts is to use your creativity. Picture yourself already living the life that you want, driving the car that you always wanted, living in the home you dreamed of and travelling and enjoying that amazing vacation.
5. Get rid of distractions & take ACTION.
Meaningless distractions and things will always be in your way, particularly those easy, usual things you prefer to do instead of focusing on new challenging and income generating activities. Learn to concentrate on what is the most important and assign the tasks which are not to a virtual assistant.
6. Plan and set Aims.
Know your weekly and monthly program and set your objectives. Fill out your weekly"To Do" list, imagining when you may do what and how. Review how each day went by what you've learned, achieved and revise what you could improve.
It's easy to burn out when you're very motivated. Observe to recognize any symptoms of tiredness and take time to rest. Your body and head remainder when you schedule relaxation and enjoyable time in your week. Diversify your tasks, keep switching between something logical and creative, something bodily and nevertheless, working alone and with a team. Switch locations to give yourself a fresh perspective.
I hope that these hints help your manage and succeed in your online journey.
